Hey, Gary. I recently saw you on the Sean Ryan Show, where you mentioned autoimmune disorders, particularly hypothyroidism and inflammatory bowel disease. I can understand why the body attacks the colon, but not the thyroid. What is the thyroid hiding that the body is attacking it (using your analogy of why the body attacks the gut due to leaky gut syndrome)? I also have a question about episode #247: An Unconventional Path to Treating Autoimmune Disease with Dr. Cynthia Li and this Health Journey Unveiled. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's (TPO ABs at 215). I eliminated gluten, dairy, and soy and started a CellCore detox. After 1 month, my TPO antibodies were down to 180, and within 3 months, I was pregnant after suffering from infertility for over 4 years. Now that I am pregnant, I am constantly craving things I can't have, and I am wondering what your take is on Hashimoto's and its relation to those foods. I also feel lethargic after eating chicken or eggs.
